put the disk in your laptop then go into your bios and set the first boot to the cd drive and then restart your computer and folly the instructions

My XP pc has recently been refurbished, but it has no wireless built in. I have a windows 7 laptop that is connected to my home sky broadband, I have a ethenet cable. Is there a way i can use the ethenet cable to connect my xp pc to the internet?
