Q&A: How to connect a Windows XP to the internet using a Win7 Laptop?

Question by : How to connect a Windows XP to the internet using a Win7 Laptop?
My XP pc has recently been refurbished, but it has no wireless built in. I have a windows 7 laptop that is connected to my home sky broadband, I have a ethenet cable. Is there a way i can use the ethenet cable to connect my xp pc to the internet?

Just connect the cable to the desktop. That’s what we do. It works fine.

Skype hiring both C# and HTML5 devs for Windows 8 Metro app

It looks like if you can’t make your mind up about building a Windows 8 Metro-style application using either C# or HTML5, Skype seems to think you should just hire to build for both and let them fight it out. In either case, Skype seems to be readying a Windows 8 app for launch day.
