Windows 7

I run IE
Windows 7 (formerly known as Blackcomb and Vienna) is the working name for the next major version of Microsoft Windows as the successor of Windows Vista. Microsoft has announced that it is “scoping Windows 7 development to a three-year timeframe”, and that “the specific release date will ultimately be determined by meeting the quality bar.” Windows 7 is expected to be released sometime in 2010. The client versions of Windows 7 will ship in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. A server variant, codenamed Windows Server 7, is also under development.
It is the name of the new version of Windows which will release in 2009 or 2010.
As mentioned it’s going to be the new Windows. They say/shown that it will have the multi touch facility (same as the iPhone, and the coffee table thing Microsoft have done.) So I suppose that is going to be the special thing about it.
Windows 7 is the next Operating System after Windows Vista. It’s not a special edition of Vista. It’s the next operating system that’s all. Currently, microsoft are planning to launch Windows 7 for touch screen devices in 2010.
